The Borough of Donora is accepting Applications for Full Time Police Officer Civil Service Test. Application deadline is Friday, June 28, 2024 at 4:00 PM. The Borough of Donora has WAIVED the Civil Service Testing Fee. The Test Date will be announced after applications have been received.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently be in an Accredited Act 120 Academy or have current Act 120 Certification by date of hire.
Must have High School Diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
Must have current CPR, First Aid, Certification.
Must Have current Firearms Qualifications (TASER training if applicable).
Must have clean Driving Record and be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

The Borough of Donora is also accepting Applications to add a second Part Time Code Enforcement Officer to assist with Property Maintenance Violations and Zoning Requirements. General Knowledge of the international Property Maintenance Code is preferred & recommended but not a requirement. Training will be provided if needed. Pay Rate is set to be $23.00 / hour with no fringe benefits.
